I've seen the British Tag floating around lately and thought it would be a good idea to do it! I was born in Liverpool, North West England, UK and now flit between there and Newcastle where I study Law in Northumbria University. I would definitely say I was pretty British in nature, so thought I would give it a go at the questions!
1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? + How many sugars?
I have about 3-4 cups apart from in summer where I usually have 1 a day. I take 2 sugars in my tea, but I usually drink water all day apart from tea, as opposed to people drinking gallons of fruit juice and coke, so I am pretty happy to have my 2 sugars!
2. Favourite part of your roast
Roasties! (Roast potatoes). I love sausages on my roast dinner too, don't know if this is weird or not but roasties and sausages are amazing. Yorkshire Puddings are gorgeous too. I love roasts, can you tell?
3. Favourite dunking biscuit
Rich Tea! I don't like dunking chocolate or chocolate biscuits in my tea as it makes my tea taste less sugary and that's just all wrong. Love a good Rich Tea, but I will settle for a Digestive if it comes to it!
4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
I love going to the pub! I love a good pub dinner with a glass of wine or a steamboat!
5. Favourite word?
Literally have no idea. For most common, us scousers tend to include 'like' in every sentence so I am going to say that!
6. Cockney rhyme slang?
I've never used this to be honest!
7. Favourite sweet
Dairy Milk! Nothing beats a good bar of chocolate.
8. What would your pub be called?
Blonde Lion, based on my frizzy blonde hair. I though of that pretty quickly, I do impress myself sometimes...
9. No.1 British person
Not in particular, but I love British Chefs; Jamie Oliver, Heston Blumenthal, Nigella Lawson, Paul Hollywood etc.
10. Favourite shop / restaurant
Typical girl here going to go with Topshop/New Look/ASOS. Sorry not sorry.
My favourite restaurant is Jamie's Italian. I know it says Italian but it's over here so that counts!
11. What British song pops into your head?
No idea. From watching Esteé's video I have the Spice Girls stuck in my head now, which I used to be obsessed with as a youngun.
NO! Just no.
Link below if you've also done the British Tag! My favourite thing about Britain is tea and biscuits. I love tea. And biscuits...
