It's the one month countdown until I turn 22! Cue Taylor Swift '22'. I don't often to wishlist posts but I thought I might as well. Usually I get money for my birthday so I can buy the things I've been looking forward to instead of somebody getting me something completely random like socks or a purse that will sit in my wardrobe for the rest of eternity. Most likely I will be heading onto the Selfridges a few days after to buy these since I've had my eye on them for what feels like forever.
Nars Audacious Lipstick £24 in Claudia, Vera and Bette
I've always adored the shape of these lipsticks and the amount of praise they receive in the beauty blogging community. I love that they name the shades after women's names - I just wish they had a 'Laura'. I've always been a fan of lilac toned lipsticks and a trust berry or vampy lip too.
Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette £38
Andy has already said he would buy this as part of my birthday present but I thought since I am still technically wishing for these for my birthday then it may as well be included. I have the Naked 3 and the Naked Basics 2 (I really should have bought them in order) and the Smoky palette is such a beautiful palette that can be used for plenty of different looks.
Mac Viva Glam Miley Cyrus Lipstick £15.50 in Miley I andMiley II
Whilst I've never been the girl to rush out and buy lipsticks just because a famous face is on it but the colour of these are so pretty. I only have seven Mac lipsticks (compared to last year when I had one!) but since I have loved using my others a lot then I know I will love these.
Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set Vol 2 £56.95
I have been babbling on about wanting Zoeva brushes for what feels like my whole life. They're pretty but they are good quality brushes that if treated right, will last a long time. As much as I like the look of the Rose Golden Vol 1 brushes, these caught my eye a bit more. I'd love the face brushes too, but since my Real Techniques ones are doing the job superbly, there isn't much point replacing them yet.
Nars Blush £23 in Super Orgasm and Albatross
I have a ton of Benefit blushers and as much as I love them I've been eyeing up the Nars blushers for a while. I know Albatross is a highlighter but I am just envisaging the pay off from it. I own the Nars Hot Sand Illuminator and it is a dream and can only imagine what Albatross would look like. I was looking online at Orgasm but Super Orgasm is more sparkly...
Urban Decay De-Slick £9
With oily-combination skin, sometimes my makeup doesn't stay in place all day. Despite using the correct primers, my nose and chin usually go a little patchy. The De-Slick will do the trick. No rhyme intended..
Charlotte Tilbury Fallen Angel Palette £45
Okay I did fall for the original hype created by Charlotte Tilbury. I have one of her lipsticks and it's beautiful. The Fallen Angel palette and the Dolce Vita palette are so loved by beauty bloggers and thought it was about time I dive into a palette other than an Urban Decay one.
Tom Ford Lipstick £38 in True Coral and Forbidden Pink
The Tom Ford lipsticks look stunning but for £38 I've never been able to justify spending the same amount that could do a whole makeup palette and potentially more. Both the lipstick and the packaging have been raved about and I think an event such as a birthday can probably be enough justification to spoil myself with my birthday money.
