As another addition to my wedding series I thought it would be good to show off my first look at high street bridal dresses. When it comes to having a budget for your wedding, the dress is statistically one of the priciest items on the list. For me I love a mixture between bohemian and vintage styled dresses but do not want to pay thousands for it, especially when there are plenty of dresses on the market to match my aesthetic. Here is a look at some beautiful dresses ranging from £105 to £799.

Adrianna Pappell Beaded Bodice Sleeveless Gown, John Lewis, £256

This dress looks far more expensive than the price, with thin shoulder straps and hand-embellished bodice for an 'opulent feel' due to the light-reflecting sequins. It has a net-trimmed underskirt and a delicate v-line neck which I think makes it perfect for a wedding in the summer.

Lace Long Sleeve Crop Top Maxi Dress, Asos, £120

This is a modern twist on traditional wedding dresses with a crop top overlay, high-rise waist with a zip back. It's lined with lace and has eyelashes lace trims and a sheer mesh insert between the crop top and skirt elements. It's so pretty and definitely a dress I would consider for my own wedding.

Annushka Embellished Bridal Dress, Monsoon, £229

I loved the halter neckline of this dress which gives off a bohemian vibe. It's an ivory dress that is embellished with pearl beads, frosted gems and sequins across the straps, bodice and waistband. The back has two pretty straps too and would also really suit a beach wedding.

Jarlo Bridal Bardot Lace Maxi Dress with Fishtail, Asos, £105

Jarlo started on a stall on London's Portobello Road and now they have their dresses over on Asos. This is a vintage style dress with a twist, with a slim fit and half-length sleeves to show off your figure. It has a bardot neck which is perfect for wearing with a pretty necklace or choker on your big day.

Embellished Pencil Midi Dress, Topshop, £795

Narrowly missing the most expensive dress by only four pounds, this champagne-hued dress is hand embellished with hundreds of shimmery beads which actually takes up to 40 hours to make according to Topshop. It's vintage 20's styled and perfect for those wanting to show off their legs and shoes on their wedding day.

Olga Embellished Bridal Dress, Monsoon, £249

The most elegant dress on the list, it's a champagne colour with figure-flattering panels and seams. It features a low-swooping cowl neck and a 20cm puddle train. On the waistline there is shining beadwork to add a bit of detail to the dress.

Trumpet Hem Maxi Dress, Asos, £200

I found it so hard to believe that this dress was £200 but it is! It's a bandeau design with trumpet hem and extended train to reverse. Simplistic in design, it would be perfect for any themed wedding as you could add in more colour with your flowers or jewellery.

Tulle Midi Bridal Dress, Topshop, £425

I found this dress interesting as it doesn't look like traditional wedding dresses. It's ivory in colour and has a 'delicate tulle overlay' with intricate Chantilly lace sleeves. It comes in at the waist and fans out in the skirt for a subtle, feminine look.

Adrianna Papell Sleeveless Beaded Mermaid Gown, John Lewis, £360

The second Adrianna Papell dress featured, this is an elegant v-line dress with matching back. It has a padded bust for 'form-flattering fit' with a full pleated hemline. It features tulle overlay, intricate beadwork, swirl embroidery and bedazzled with sequins.

Nine by Savannah Miller Ivory Eligenza Lace Bridal Dress, Debenhams, £420

I hadn't heard of this brand before looking for dresses to feature. The theme behind this is 'timeless elegance' with a bohemian touch. It is a floor-length dress with lace detailing, mesh sleeves and sequin embellishments for a shimmering finish. It's said to give off the vibe of 'aesthetically and effortlessly cool'.

Debut Ivory Joy Bead Embellished Bridal Dress, Debenhams, £340

The sleeves are what brought my attention to this dress as they're relaxed and flattering to the arms. The dress showcases the mesh detailing and hand-beaded embellishments which falls effortlessly to the floor with a flattering shape and seamed waist.

Ted Baker Tie The Knot Caressi Chain Detailed Pleated Bridal Gown, John Lewis, £799

This is the most expensive of all the dresses but you wouldn't necessarily think so. It's a floor-sweeping maxi length dress with lightwight georgette fabric. It features a keyhole neckline with a dramatic plunging back, finished with light-reflecting crystal detail trims for a sparkling finish.
