Exciting times are coming, and myself and Andy are about a year away from buying our first home. Whilst saving for our deposit, we're gradually picking up pieces from our home so that we don't have to buy all our furniture and decorative pieces in one go once we've moved in. I love Urban Outfitters for home items as they have some unique pieces that fits in with our aesthetic. Here are a few items I've picked out that are on my wishlist.

I've wanted a bar cart for our living room or dining area and this one looks perfect. It isn't too big, with a mid-century design with two glass top surface areas. It has three wheels which makes moving it easy, especially when we will hopefully have laminate/wooden flooring. It's sleek would tuck away perfectly in a corner. I'd probably store glasses on top and drinks on the bottom but you could use it as a feature piece in the room too.

I love duvet covers that give a room a bit of personality. I've never been one for plain white sheets, and I'd rather the walls be plain and add in different duvet covers and pillows so I can change up the room depending on the season. For this time next year, I think this pretty pink swirl cover would look perfect. From afar it looks a bit like marble too.

I don't have much to say about this aside from the fact I think it's really cute. It's a tie-dye cushion with a patterned rind and would look great in both the living room or your bedroom. I've just not seen anything like this before!

This is a circular rose gold mirror statement piece that looks unlike usual mirrors that you see. I'm a huge fan of adding mirrors to rooms to create the illusion that they look bigger, and I'm not sure this would do this, but it definitely catches the eye.

This also comes in gold too, but I plan on having rose gold in my office/makeup room/photography area. It's a hanging wall grid that you can attach photos to, notes, personal effects etc. It includes some clips to start off your grid. I tend to be very visual when I'm organising so I could add to-do notes onto this which definitely makes me more motivated to purchase something like this.

When I was little I actually had a record player, and whilst that is dead and buried, we still have some records in our house. I'm determined to pick up a record player to make use of them. What I didn't know until now is that it has Bluetooth technology to stream music to, so even if I only had a few records I could make use of the record player by streaming. They come in plenty of colours so pink is my initial favourite, I may change my mind by the time we have a house.

I love a good candle, and an ombre candle definitely draws me in. This one is scented with cherry, plum and vanilla which seems perfect to me, but there is also watermelon, peach and lime. The burn time is 40-50 hours and is made of soy wax and hand-poured in the UK.

I can't get enough of the cactus trend, and adding this tapestry to a plain wall seems a dream. Not only am I seeing this as a beautiful touch to a room, but it would be great to use for blog photography. This print actually comes in a shower curtain too which tempts me further.

There are a few more items on my wishlist which you can see over home wishlist post.
