Transitional Pieces | Summer To Autumn

I can't help myself window shopping when I know the next season is approaching, even though I feel like I've only just bought that season's clothes. Autumn is my favourite season as I can start layering again, the colours aren't as bright and the leaves are out, so it's no surprise that I end up wanting to buy near enough everything I see. I do tend to want to pick everything up in an excuse as it's 'birthday clothes' as I'm an October baby but you have to treat yourself for your birthday, right? Here are a few of my picks to transition from Summer to Autumn, from heels to boots, little bags to backpacks and of course, plenty of biker jackets.

Weekend Getaway Wishlist | Collab Post*

When planning a weekend getaway, I always think of three things. Items for my face, my body, and what I'm going to bring them in. I always try to up my skincare routine when going away as I want to feel my best as I'll be relaxing and most probably taking a ton of photos so I want to feel like my best me. To go with this, having a new outfit is always a confidence boost and we're currently in the awkward transition season and it isn't too hot but isn't too cold either. All the online stores at least are bringing out some Autumn pieces so I thought why not create an outfit inspired by the latest friends that are comfortable too. Finally, I've added in two bags to pack all of my items into that really finish off this wishlist well.

Skincare

L'Occitane Pivoine 2-in-1 Perfecting Scrub (£19.00) gets rid of the skin impurities and dead cells to reveal a smooth base for your makeup. The scrub includes peony extract, micro-granules and micro-exfoliant in a gel format to provide both a mask and an exfoliator. It transforms into an oil to cleanse and exfoliate, and the texture of the skin appears smoother and pores are minimised. The Rodial Stemcell Super-Food Glam Lip Balm (£19.00) is a moisturising rose flavoured lip balm designed with innovative stem cell technology to provide a plumping and volumising effect. It's enriched with rose hip oil and shea butter to sooth dry and dehydrated lips. I feel like the Scrub and this Balm go really well together having floral notes in them. Finally, the Oh K! Coconut Water Fibre Face Mask (£8.00) moulds to the face 'like a second skin' to cleans the skin and replenish your skin feeling supple from the first use. Oh K! is a Korean K-Pop inspired brand and created these sheet masks with the fun packaging and coconut scent to inspire you to make sure your skin in clean and healthy.

Outfit

These Faith Binky Leather Chelsea Boots (£45.00) are 100% real leather with elasticated inserts to enable you to slip them on and you're ready to go. The colour is perfect for the upcoming Autumn season and you can even wipe them clean and will go so well with jeans. To go with them, the Jack Wills Laybourn Cotton Stretch Shirt (£44.50) is made from a soft and stretchy cotton and is perfect for girls who want a smart-casual look. They're designed to be figure-hugging and allows you to move freely whilst looking on trend. It features a slim fit with a neat collar, branded top button and the Jack Wills embroidery at the chest. This would look perfect with high waisted jeans or a high waisted skirt and could be worn all year round. The Topshop Moto Blue Joni Jeans (£36.00) are my favourite style jeans I've ever purchased and would love to pick them in a blue shade too. They're stretchy and ultra-high-rise so you could tuck a shirt into it or leave it loose and you'll still look like you've been styled by a professional. These are in the spray-on skinny fit which means the ends can be neatly tucked into chelsea boots without bagging, especially since you buy them in your measurements instead of the standard 8, 10, 12 dress sizes.

Extras

The Nails Inc. Stop! Glamour Time Cosmetic Bag (£12.00) is perfect for packaging all your skincare and makeup items and I absolutely adore the look of the gold lettering on the front. These are limited edition bags and they just look like the perfect size for a weekend getaway. Finally, the Accessorize Harper Weekender Bag (£45.00) is one of my favourite pieces in this wishlist. Who can go for a weekend away without a weekend bag? I love the size of these bags as they can fit in my multiple makeup bags and my outfit choices with a bit of extra room too. This is in such a simple design and looks so much more expensive than £45. It has a detachable shoulder strap which is a welcome addition when it comes to carrying heavy bags.

What would you pack?

WantFeed: A website you need to check out!

Hey guys,

I saw on Twitter that WantFeed had just been released and thought I would check it out. It is a website where when you see something you wish to buy later, or for someone else to buy, you can add it to your own feed, including pictures, the price, where it is from etc. WantFeed is made by Stefan Michalak, who you will most probably know from Hannah Maggs YouTube channel and blog.

It is really easy to sign up, and I signed up from my phone, so you can make a profile and get started from whatever platform you're on.

After you've signed up, this is what you'll see. All you have to do, is browse a website, and once you've picked something you wish to add to your WantFeed, paste in the url of that specific item on that website, whether it me shoes, a watch..... I could go on.

I obviously chose shoes. If you picked a website like ASOS, the image will automatically upload for you. You can then choose to add a title, a little description about the item, the price and then if you want to set up a group, add it there. It is really easy and quick to do.

This is the result afterwards. You can follow other users using the top right hand + sign, or visit their WantFeed. It is incredibly easy to use, and I'm sure it won't take long for me to add every single thing I wish to buy!

So go over and sign up and become addicted to adding things like me! If you have any questions, make sure you head over to their twitter: @thewantfeed and ask Stefan some questions!
