When it comes to watching films, I forget sometimes that I could just pop a DVD in. Most of the time I'm ridiculous when it comes to watching films, as I pick the same ones over and over again. I'm surprised that my Les Miserables DVD isn't broken by now as I've watched it so many times. I'm setting myself a challenge in 2017 to not only start watching more films, but stop watching as many TV series.

I don't particularly have a category when it comes to choosing films, but instead of watching either the latest films out or using my 5 year old sister as an excuse to watch kid's films, I can start watching films that will make me laugh. Sometimes having a good chuckle can really lift your spirits, especially when you've been working so hard to achieve your goals. I've actually seen one of these films I've shown here which is Horrible Bosses, purely because Jennifer Aniston is in the film and she is life goals right there.

We're almost onto the third week in January and I've not watched on film yet, so I bet you know exactly what I'll be doing this weekend. There are well known comedy films from what I've read, such as Yes Man where Jim Carrey has to say 'yes' to everything and Due Date where Zak Galiafianakis and Robert Downey Jr rush to make it one of their child's birth on time.

There are two films I've not yet heard of but did a bit of digging to show you what they're about. Two Weeks Notice stars Sandra Bullock who realises her boss, Hugh Grant, treats her too much like a lawyer and quits her job. The last film is older than myself, from 1991 and is Doc Hollywood. Michael J Fox stars as a doctor who causes a traffic accident in a small town and is sentenced to work for some days at the town's hospital. Now the description doesn't sound funny but it seemed to be well received so I'll be giving it a go to see if it inspires me to watch more comedy films.

With me, you can watch the films too by buying them here or enter my giveaway below for a chance to win them.
