Win A Huda Beauty Obsessions Palette

I only started using Huda Beauty products in December and I fell for them pretty quickly. I was keen to try out the Faux Filter Foundation as I love a full coverage foundation, and aside from that, all I knew I wanted was some eyeshadow palettes. I swore I wouldn't buy Huda Beauty products here but after receiving the Desert Dusk palette for Christmas and two of the Obsessions palettes, I immediately changed my mind. For me, they work really well. I like a shadow that looks silky, a shimmer that glimmers and the lasting power even when using an eyeshadow primer. The Obsessions palettes are perfect for travelling with, they're a good introduction to the brand if you're new to trying them, or if you're looking for something at a specific price point. Currently there are six Huda Beauty Obsessions palettes:  Coral Obsessions PaletteElectric Obsessions PaletteGemstones Obsessions PaletteMauve Obsessions PaletteWarm Brown Obsessions Palette and Smokey Obsessions Palette. I'm giving you the chance to win one of your choice down below as a thank you for supporting me for almost four and a half years of blogging, and for bearing with me whilst I've been moving house.

Treats Direct Delivered Sweets Review & Giveaway

There are many subscription boxes available these days for a whole host of things, whether this is beauty, lifestyle or entertainment. A variety of food boxes also give you the opportunity to try new things, but I've not tried or seen a food one specifically for sweets. Sometimes when you fancy a little treat, having a mixture of sweet things can be ideal rather than having a big bag of sweets. I've always had a bit of a sweet tooth and enjoy trying out new things, which is what made it particularly hard to give up chocolate for a month. Pic 'n' Mix was one of those things as a child that you always used to love, particularly when you went to the cinema and got a pot of goodies. Nowadays, it's so expensive to get Pic 'n' Mix which has taken the fun out of it.

Treats Direct have created a subscription box that means you can receive a selection of sweet choices to your door for you to enjoy. It's so easy to get started with the box, it works by signing yourself up and then your random surprise box will arrive at your door, whether you want this to your home or place of work. You can get your first box for only £2.49 and get to experience your selection of 4 different sweets packages. There is a great selection of treats that may be included in your box, 167 of them to be precise, that can be anything you would find in a Pic 'n' Mix. I've enjoyed trying some of this great choice of sweets as I could test out a mix of items and was perfect for when I only wanted a little bit of each. These two boxes contained Blue Crashed Saucers, Cherries, Foam Mushrooms, Giant Sour Jelly Strawbs, Rainbow Stripes, Vanilla Fudge, Chocolate Cups and Zazzies.

Another great feature of this box from Treats Direct is that you can gift it to someone, whether this is to friends, family or even someone you work with. This can be done as a one-off or for multiple boxes. I think these would be such a great gift to show your appreciation to someone or to give as a congratulations present. You get to add a personalised message for the lucky recipient and then your gift will be on its way with free delivery. Another alternative way to share the love of sweets is to buy an e-gift voucher which can be tailored to the number of boxes you wish to give. If you want to be in with a chance of winning your very own box, follow the steps below and remember to read the terms and conditions. There are two lucky winners this time!

Adexe Sistine Petite Rose Gold Watch Review & Giveaway

Watches are a great accessory to have as part of your jewellery collection as they are not only a functional item, but one that can contribute to your outfit and help to finish your look off. Having a range of watches can allow for a choice when it comes to choosing your style for the day, so I'm glad to partner up with Adexe to expand my watch collection. Obviously, I chose rose gold as I found it hard to resist as when I see rose gold items online I'm just drawn to them.

After browsing through the range of watches from Adexe, I came across this gorgeous Sistine Petite Rose Gold one that is different to any watch I currently own. It's simple and elegant design would add that little bit of class to your outfit. It has a hand-made mesh band, with a hand-polished all stainless steel case. The watch face is well proportioned and is easy to read. Adexe pride themselves as 'masters of venerable art form' that combine melding mechanical precision with a touch of luxury that is aesthetically pleasing.

Revlon One Step Dryer And Volumiser & Giveaway

Drying my hair is one of the chores I hate the most. I find hairdryers hard to use as I get frequent wrist pain, and even before this I could never achieve a salon blow-dry at home. A product I've just been sent to try out is the Revlon One Step Dryer And Volumiser (£59.99) which is a 2-in-1 styling tool to give you a great blow-out whilst saving yourself some time. You don't need to use a brush as the oval design provides all-round bristles that brush through your hair as it blows heat out, so it detangles, dries, smooths and adds volume.

It has Ionic Technology to transfer the airflow instantly to your hair to reduce the time it takes to style your hair, and from using it for a few weeks now I can assure you it does. I can reach the most awkward areas of my hair with this and it's really easy to use. The Ionic Technology aims to condition, smooth, add shine, and reduce static and frizz. For me, my hair is less frizzy than using a standard hairdryer but I do need to run my hair over with my ghd's for a more sleek look. My hair tends to cross borders between volume and frizz and sometimes I can't quite tell which is which. The ceramic coating protects the hair from over-styling with even heat distribution that penetrates your hair quickly for enhanced shine and less damage.

There are two heat settings, and a cool shot, pretty much exactly the same as my own hairdryer. Sometimes when you're fresh out of the shower the last thing you want is intense heat on your hair, so the cool shot is a nice added touch. Talking about heat, it has an overheating cut-off so once the thermostat detects it's too hot it will shut off. It's not cordless, but it does have a swivel on the end and it has a 4-year limited guarantee. I've compared it to a Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick for scale, but I promise it's not intimidating for its size.

Christmas Scents From Fragrance Direct & A Giveaway

I love shopping for Christmas gifts, and fragrances are something a lot of people love receiving. Choosing a scent can be difficult at times, but it can be fuss-free if you know what the person likes. I usually create a wishlist that people can choose from, and Fragrance Direct has made it even easier for you with their thoughtful gift section. For me, floral and fruity scents are my go-to, so it was quite easy to pick a few perfumes to go on to my wishlist. I chose one from Chloé, and one from Hugo Boss in 50ml bottles as they will last quite a long time but they're not too expensive as to make you shy away from selecting them.

Boss The Scent Intense For Her Eau De Parfum 50ml is a seductive scent for women, with a higher oil concentration and 'amplified aphrodisiac ingredients' to enhance the sensual journey. There are notes of freesia blossom and honeyed peach, heart notes of oriental osmanthus with a rich base of dark roasted cocoa, strengthened by vanilla.  The bottle is sleek and sophisticated with the diamond-shaped flacon flowing upwards to the precious jewel cap. It is a pretty bottle with more structure than the Chloé perfume and would be great for someone with a strong personality.

Chloé Signature Eau De Parfum 50ml is a perfume that makes me feel classy. It's a unique bottle with that timeless design that makes you feel more expensive when it's on and when it's sat at your beauty desk. The fragrance is a combination of floral powder notes, with uplifting hints of lychee and peony with a drop of springtime freesia. It's a flirtatious and feminine perfume, with lily of the valley, magnolia and subtle notes of elegant cedarwood and warm amber. It would suit anyone from the early 20s onwards and now has a permanent place in my perfume collection.

If you love floral, feminine and fruity fragrances, these are the ones for you. There are some other amazing fragrances to pick from on the Fragrance Direct website, such as Marc Jacobs Daisy, Marc Jacobs Decadence and Lacoste L12 12 which would be amazing gifts for your loved ones. I tend to get fragrances as my main presents as it's something that I wear all year round and it means a lot to know someone would appreciate something I like as a huge beauty lover.

If you'd like to have a chance at winning the Chloé Signature EDP, make sure to enter my giveaway below!

Easter Giveaways - Two Chances To Win!

Easter is probably one of my favourite times of the year. It's Spring, the flowers are out and it's time to treat yourself to chocolate and new Spring/Summer makeup. As well as treating myself, I thought it would be lovely to have not one, but two giveaways to give my readers more chances to win some feel-good items to celebrate the season. On Twitter, I'm giving away some Easter Treats that you can share with your friends or keep locked away to indulge whenever you fancy. Over on Instagram I'm giving away a Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette and some chocolate so there are two separate giveaways and two chances to win.

Celebrating Three Years With A Giveaway

You may have seen the my blog recently turned three years old this week, and I normally celebrate it with a giveaway. Hitting 30,000 followers was another reason to celebrate lately, so why not? This time I've gone with a lip product themed giveaway, given Valentine's Day is all about spreading the love and in my eyes, love to me is makeup (and the rest). I've picked out items from different brands like Mac, Kat Von D, Winky Lux, Maybelline and Barry M to share products from a range of different prices. Items like the Mac Pencil in Whirl is a firm favourite of mine since I got it for Christmas.

Included is the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick in La Femme (£17), Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick in Coral Courage (£5.59), Barry M Matte Me Up Liquid Lip Paint in On The Scene (£4.99), Winky Lux Flower PH Balm in Pink (£13) and Mac Lip Pencil in Whirl (£13) making the giveaway worth £53.58! The only reason I picked out the Winky Lux Flower PH Balm was because I saw it on Pinterest and thought it looked stunning with the flower blooming inside. Scroll down to see the widget to put your entry in on Twitter.

New Year, New You | Comedy Films To Watch & A Giveaway

When it comes to watching films, I forget sometimes that I could just pop a DVD in. Most of the time I'm ridiculous when it comes to watching films, as I pick the same ones over and over again. I'm surprised that my Les Miserables DVD isn't broken by now as I've watched it so many times. I'm setting myself a challenge in 2017 to not only start watching more films, but stop watching as many TV series.

I don't particularly have a category when it comes to choosing films, but instead of watching either the latest films out or using my 5 year old sister as an excuse to watch kid's films, I can start watching films that will make me laugh. Sometimes having a good chuckle can really lift your spirits, especially when you've been working so hard to achieve your goals. I've actually seen one of these films I've shown here which is Horrible Bosses, purely because Jennifer Aniston is in the film and she is life goals right there.

We're almost onto the third week in January and I've not watched on film yet, so I bet you know exactly what I'll be doing this weekend. There are well known comedy films from what I've read, such as Yes Man where Jim Carrey has to say 'yes' to everything and Due Date where Zak Galiafianakis and Robert Downey Jr rush to make it one of their child's birth on time.

There are two films I've not yet heard of but did a bit of digging to show you what they're about. Two Weeks Notice stars Sandra Bullock who realises her boss, Hugh Grant, treats her too much like a lawyer and quits her job. The last film is older than myself, from 1991 and is Doc Hollywood. Michael J Fox stars as a doctor who causes a traffic accident in a small town and is sentenced to work for some days at the town's hospital. Now the description doesn't sound funny but it seemed to be well received so I'll be giving it a go to see if it inspires me to watch more comedy films.

With me, you can watch the films too by buying them here or enter my giveaway below for a chance to win them.
