RedKen have recently brought out the Pillow Proof Blow Dry Express Treatment Primer Cream (£17)* which is designed to improve the process of drying your hair. This nourishing treatment is designed for all hair types, more so for dry, thick or coarse hair. It's supposed to protect against heat up to 230 degrees while reducing the time it takes to blow dry your hair, which would be a very welcome change as I use GHD's which are very hot and cause heat damage. After using the primer, hair should be left 3x stronger to prevent breakage and healthier and primed ready for styling. I received the 150ml pump bottle plus their perfectly sized 30ml travel tube which will be great for keeping on top of your hair when you go away. It would be ideal when going abroad, as the increased humidity normally sends your hair out of control.

I've been excited to try this out since I've been dying my hair for about 10 years now and have been straightening it on and off for about the same amount of time, so my hair is slightly damaged especially at the ends. I've also found it hard to to blow dry my hair and not straighten it afterwards as it always ends up frizzy otherwise.
